Game QA testing built into the release path

Good QA does more than find bugs. HAPZ helps teams define coverage, reproduce defects, validate fixes, and make practical release decisions from early builds through launch candidates.

What We Deliver

Core Capabilities

Functional Testing

Systematic testing of every gameplay mechanic, UI flow, and feature. We write test cases, execute them, and track bugs through resolution.

Regression Testing

Every new build gets regression-tested against previous functionality. We catch regressions before they reach staging.

Performance Profiling

FPS benchmarking, memory leak detection, load time analysis, GPU/CPU profiling. We find the bottlenecks and recommend fixes.

Compatibility Testing

Testing across the devices, OS versions, screen sizes, and hardware profiles agreed for your release target, with clear coverage and gaps documented.

Automation Testing

Automated test suites for repetitive workflows — smoke tests, build verification, and API testing using Unity Test Framework, Pytest, or Appium.

Certification & Compliance

Pre-submission testing for Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam, PlayStation TRC, Xbox XR, and Nintendo Lotcheck requirements.

How It Works

Our Approach

01

Test Planning

We review your GDD and builds, then create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

02

Sprint QA

QA runs in parallel with development. Bugs are logged, triaged, and tracked per sprint.

03

Regression & Perf

Full regression pass and performance benchmarks before every milestone or release candidate.

04

Release Sign-Off

Final certification check, release notes, and go/no-go recommendation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can your QA team work in our Jira/bug tracker?

Yes. We work in whatever tool you use — Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, Azure DevOps, or your custom tracker. We adapt to your workflow.

Do you offer dedicated QA or shared QA?

Both. Dedicated QA engineers are embedded full-time on your project. Shared QA is available for smaller projects or periodic testing sprints.

What's the typical QA-to-developer ratio?

We recommend 1 QA engineer per 3–5 developers for active development phases, scaling up to 1:2 during final polish and release prep.

Can you test live games?

Yes. We provide live ops QA — testing patches, seasonal content, events, and server-side changes in production environments.

Ready to make the next production decision?

Bring the game, the milestone, or the blocker. We'll discuss the scope, the team context, and whether HAPZ is the right production partner.
