HAPZ CASE STUDY / HAPZ original — live on Google Play
A digital Call Break card game built and published by HAPZ, with bidding, trick scoring, AI opponents and a full in-game rulebook.
Project At A Glance
The Experience
Players need to see whose turn it is, what was bid, and why a round scored the way it did. Trick-taking games punish ambiguity, so state and scoring have to be visible at every step.
This is a HAPZ original. We own the IP, and the build is live on Google Play — design, code, art pipeline, store submission and updates all in-house.
PROJECT BRIEF
WHAT HAPZ DELIVERED
Designed, built and published by HAPZ: rules engine, AI opponents, UI, scoring and the Google Play release.
Full Call Break trick-taking logic — bidding, trumps, card ranking and per-round scoring — enforced so game state is always correct and inspectable.
Three AI players that bid and play plausibly, so a solo game still feels like a table.
